Microbiology R&D Lab Technician

*Description:*
CORE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Maintains glassware by picking-up, cleaning, washing, sterilizing, and distributing.
• Maintains major equipment by cleaning Autoclaves, Biological Safety Cabinets, Incubators, Deep Freezers, Refrigerators, and Balances.
• Making and maintaining media stock throughout the laboratory
• Maintains lab cleanliness by cleaning walls, floors, and bench tops.
• Recognizes malfunctions in laboratory equipment and either notify management or performs simple repairs.
• Keeps laboratory supplies ready by stocking labs, inventorying stock, and verifying supply receipt.
• Follow all procedures related to data documentation, laboratory safety, and good laboratory practices.
