CHA Consulting, Inc. is currently seeking an Environmental Compliance Scientist to join our Environmental Team based in New York State.

YOUR IMPACT:
CHA is uniquely qualified to assist any client with environmental services. From initial site characterization through remediation, CHA draws on the expertise of staff team members that possess considerable environmental site assessment and remediation experience. We have been providing environmental consulting services for over 25 years, and we employ a team of approximately 100 scientists and engineers who keep abreast of current regulatory issues. We provide our clients with detailed data and analysis and assist with managing environmental risk by providing recommendations and implementing process improvements. This Environmental Compliance Scientist role will have a specific focus on auditing hazardous waste storage, air permitting, HazCom and asbestos awareness training, and will interact with regulators on a routine basis. REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Science or related field requiredValid US driver's license is requiredMinimum of 3 years of related experience requiredExperience with hazardous waste storage, air permitting, HazCom, and asbestos awarenessExperience with Microsoft Word & Excel is requiredAbility to physically navigate and work in the field in different weather conditions requiredSome travel will be required (~30%)Active role in a professional scientific or engineering society/organization preferred
