Environmental Scientist

*Hiring an Environmental Scientist for TOP Environmental Consulting firm! Consulting services include a range of **science, economic, and engineering disciplines with clients that span sectors in Real Estate; Financial; Manufacturing/Industrial; Energy; Legal; Insurance; Government/Municipal; Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG); and Water Resources.* *Job Description:*

* Environmental Scientist is responsible for working on remediation sites across NYC
* 75%-90% + field work
* Assistance with site investigation, data analysis, and report preparation activities
* Environmental sampling of soil, soil vapor, indoor air, and groundwater
* Oversight of remediation across multiple NYC sites with occasional travel to Long Island
* Prepare engineering drawings, specifications, and scopes of work for construction
* Assist with design of remediation processes and systems
* Assist with evaluation/optimization of existing remediation systems
*Skills:*

* Environmental science, geology. environmental engineering
* Soil sampling, environmental remediation, water sampling
* Construction oversight
*Qualifications:*

* Bachelor's required; Master's preferred; Environmental, Chemical, Civil Engineering
* 6 Months to 3 years of professional environmental consulting experience
* Phase 1 and phase 2 site assessments
* Water sampling, soil sampling or construction oversight experience
* Must be willing to be in the field 100% of the time
* On track for a professional license (E.I.T. or P.E.)
* HAZWOPER / OSHA 40
