We are currently seeking an ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) Manager to join the Legal and ESG Department of Boyd Corporation. This position will report directly to the SVP, General Counsel & Chief Compliance Officer and will ideally be based in Boca Raton, Florida. However, remote work will be considered on a case-by-case basis. The ESG Manager will primarily focus on planning and implementing major ESG strategic initiatives for Boyd, in close collaboration with key C suite and international operational business leaders.

Responsibilities


    Develop and execute corporate EHS and ESG strategy and sustainability initiatives which are directly tied to the Company's business strategies and goals
    Manage the Company's global EHS and ESG data collection and reporting - develop KPIs, dashboards and tracking tools to measure the program's progress and cost savings
    Work closely with the Company's global operations leaders and site ESG champions to manage environmental and carbon footprint data collection, surveys, certifications and sustainability audits and develop business cases to enhance sustainability outcomes.
    Prepare an annual ESG/Sustainability report to communicate ESG progress and build external ESG product and technology messaging for investors, customers, etc.
    Support Board and Committee quarterly EHS and ESG updates and the global Company ESG taskforce
    As a close partner to the global operations leadership team, support all manufacturing facilities with environmental health and safety initiatives
    Create policies, guidelines, training, employee briefings and website content for the Company's EHS and ESG programs and other matters affecting the environment, health, and safety of the organization
    Support EHS/ESG due diligence on acquisition targets
    Evaluates the organization's current or proposed activities, operations, equipment, laboratories, facilities and processes to minimize their impact on the environment, and ensure alignment with corporate sustainability goals
    Remain up to date on EHS and ESG regulations, trends and developments and translating them into actionable improvements across the Company's global business operations
    Coordinate environmental tests; analyzes and evaluates results, recommends corrective action, and ensures the organization complies with federal and state regulations
    Educate and train the workforce on emergency response procedures, handling hazardous materials, and other aspects of environmental management
    Prepare and submit environmental reports in addition to managing and maintaining all written safety programs and training records, to ensure achievement of plant safety metrics and regulatory compliance
    Provide leadership with current and historical EH&S data for operational KPI metrics - ensure all EH&S accidents, injuries, near misses, and other events are captured and the data is managed and reported
    Support global operations safety efforts by conducting proactive audits and inspections, investigations, reporting statistics, and lead the execution of the corrective actions.
    Manage the OSHA 301/300 recordkeeping requirements and serves as the Account Administrator for the online Safety Data Sheet system
