With unprecedented funding to address climate change, EPA's Clean School Bus Program provides the ability to replace existing school buses with zero-emission and low-emission models and accelerate supporting infrastructure. The outcome? Cleaner air, reduced health risks, reduced greenhouse gas emissions, and energy grid resilience. Job Description Summary As a Grants Manager you will work with school districts to navigate their Clean School Bus Program grant from application intake through grant closeout in alignment with EPA rules and regulations. On a daily basis, you will manage, organize and set priorities for Group Leads; provide oversight to ensure quality, completeness, and on-time delivery of assigned tasks; monitor workloads, leads and job assignments; and track key metrics. This position will manage a portfolio of EPA Clean School Bus Program grant recipients through the program ensuring that the objectives of the program are achieved. Responsible for reviewing applications and budgets, ensuring set-up of grants in grant management system, preparing and submitting invoices or reports to the recipients, maintaining grant-related files, ensuring terms and conditions of grant agreements are satisfied, communicating with grants/rebates recipients, and working with the organization to ensure the sustainability of grant-funded programs and services. Key Responsibilities: * Monitor status of grants from validation of documentation and tracking progression through closeout. * Coordinate and participate in resolution of grant related issues and concerns. * Address any issues presented by applicants during the grant management process * Optimize procedures and maintain communication and focus. * Maintain and track each receipt grant in management information system. * Measure performance with key metrics. * Keep management team informed on issues, problems & resolutions. * Provide superior customer service to recipients and facilitate and negotiate problems.
