Deloitte's SC&E Strategic Growth Offering team is seeking an Ecosystem & Alliances Strategy Manager who will focus on architecting strategies for growth and value creation with the Firm's major and emerging technology partners. This leader will help define how Deloitte leverages emerging technologies and works directly with ecosystem partners to shape new markets, harness innovative technologies, and create new business models to better serve the sustainability needs of our clients. The Manager for SC&E Ecosystems & Alliances strategy is a critical role in advancing Deloitte's New Business Growth agenda. The manager will work closely with firm leadership across the business and alliances to architect growth opportunities, rapidly scale and strengthen our capabilities, and align with our firm's core commitment to sustainability and climate change. This leader will support structuring opportunities for solutions to successfully integrate key technologies, our alliance partners, and internally developed IP to bring dynamic new offerings to our clients.

Responsibilities
  • Shape the development of technology-enabled strategies to drive growth for new offerings within ESG
  • Support partnering with business leaders to develop SC&E ecosystem strategies for specific practices, including mapping potential ecosystem partners against identified capabilities and working closely with teams to support activation
  • Develop deep understanding of emerging technologies in the ESG Climate & Sustainability space and translate into specific growth recommendations for key technology partners
  • Develop go-to-market strategies with ecosystem partners to bring value to our clients and create viable commercial relationships
  • Manage primary research including developing research hypotheses, questionnaire design, interviewing subject matter experts, and synthesis of findings
  • Engage and collaborate with relevant practice areas and leaders across the US and Global firms in our joint effort to advance the SC&E SGO aspirations and impact
  • Continually improve understanding of alliance partners' ESG offerings and initiate creative ecosystem opportunities
  • Maintain fluency in market trends and competitive landscape for relevant topics

Qualifications

Required:
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 8+ years of prior work experience, preferably leading strategy within a professional services firm or large corporate organization
  • Limited immigration sponsorship may be available
  • Ability to travel 0-20%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve

Preferred:
  • MBA/MS or other relevant advanced degree preferred
  • A background in or passion for sustainability and ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance)
  • Strong executive presence with a client service mentality and ability to develop a high degree of trust with key internal client base
  • High level of proficiency in developing executive level communications/presentations
  • Agile business leader who can deal with complexity and can proactively manage multiple workstreams and deliverables simultaneously
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and experience navigating a matrixed business environment
  • High interest in innovative technologies (e.g., artificial intelligence, blockchain)
  • Experience in management consulting or corporate/business unit strategy function
  • An understanding of, and experience in, ESG-related technology trends and services, including knowledge of technology and services companies, preferred
  • Enthusiastic, dynamic, high-spirited, and collaborative

For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in Colorado or Nevada, Deloitte is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This compensation range is specific to the State of Colorado and the State of Nevada and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $115,030 to $211,850.

You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
