Job Description
New hires based in the US & Puerto Rico will be required to demonstrate that they have been fully vaccinated for COVID-19 or qualify for a medical or religious exemption or accommodation to this vaccination requirement, subject to applicable law.
Our Research Scientists are our Inventors. We identify and target steps in disease mechanisms or pathways that could be inhibited or enhanced. Our goal is to isolate a compound that is effective against a disease target. Using innovative thinking, state-of-the-art facilities and robust scientific methodology we collaborate to discover the next medical breakthrough.
We are seeking a highly qualified scientist with a strong background in Oncology/Immune-Oncology to join our Discovery Oncology team in Boston. The successful candidate will have a track record of multi-parameter immunophenotyping and mechanism of action studies. Primary responsibilities will include designing and carrying out experiments in the lab to support our pipeline projects. An ability to communicate clearly and collaborate effectively with colleagues in the discovery group as well as scientists from different disciplines will be essential.

Responsibilities
- Design, conduct, interpret and report immunophenotyping results and cell based MOA studies to support preclinical drug discovery and development in the fields of oncology and immune-oncology
- Ensure data generated is communicated in a concise, easy to understand manner to the appropriate teams and stakeholders
- Function and communicate effectively in a highly productive and multi-disciplinary environment
Education
- 3+ plus experience with a B.S., or 0+ years with a M.S. in the area of immunology, cancer biology, or related area

Required
- Isolation, phenotypical and functional characterization of primary immune cells from murine and human origin
- Flow cytometry including designing and optimizing multi-parameter flow cytometry
- Design of in vitro and ex vivo cell-based assays and analysis by various techniques (ELISA/MSD/Luminex/Elispot)
- Work independently to design experiments, interpret data, troubleshoot, and suggest next steps
- Constructive Team player with principled communications and ability to work collaboratively and thrive in a Team environment
- Effective and efficient organization and ability to contribute to multiple projects
