Description

IBSS is seeking a Full Time Grants Management Specialist to provide grants administrative and management support. If you are looking to be an instrumental part of a growing, employee and customer-focused company working on exciting issues in environmental science and other marine/coastal resources we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

Support the issuance of new awards and all modifications for accuracy, reasonableness, completeness, consistency, and compliance with appropriate Department of Commerce and NOAA rules and regulations.
Process research proposals for program offices, to include program announcement distribution, database entry for letter of intent and full proposal, and all mail and panel review material.
Prepare and maintain an official file for each grant proposal, ensuring that it contains the required documentation for submission.

Required Skills /Education/ Certifications & Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in related field
1-3 years experience in related field
Program planning and management in a team environment
Developing performance metrics and milestones
Working with diverse interagency teams
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Developing and monitoring resource investment strategies
Working with marine fisheries information programs or other science-based programs
Dashboard data analytics
