Taylor Hopkinson is currently looking to hire a Compliance Manager for our client in the Offshore Wind Energy sector. Ideally, we are looking for someone with experience in environmental compliance, preferably in the offshore construction and operations industry, with offshore wind experience being highly desired. This person will lead and help develop the environmental and permit compliance programs for multiple offshore wind farms.
*This role is located in the Boston area and currently has a hybrid schedule. Our client offers an initial relocation bonus to assist with any moving expenses.

Responsibilities
- managing oversight of onshore and offshore work, pre-and during construction
- coordinating with the Senior Environmental Permit and Compliance manager to ensure consistency with compliance programs across other projects
- ensuring required plans and reports are developed, finalized, and submitted to relevant agencies
- developing and implementing an environmental and permit compliance program
- management duties, including initial compliance with regulations, guidelines, lease conditions, and bid commitments
- managing, tracking, and executing required environmental awareness training
- participating in fieldwork inductions
Requirements
- a bachelor's degree in either environmental studies/science, engineering, construction management or relevant professional experience
- 2+ years of experience in environmental compliance, preferably in the offshore construction with some knowledge of offshore wind
- experience with compliance-related data collection, monitoring, tracking, and reporting tools, such as compliance and database management software systems
- relevant experience or certification in environmental auditing and/or experience with HSE management on large construction projects as well as experience managing the efforts of multiple contractors/consultants and coordinating field activities
- familiarity with MARPOL regulations and compliance
