The Boeing Company is currently seeking an Environmental, Health & Safety Manager to join the team in either Renton, WA or Everett, WA.

This position will lead a cross functional team in support of advancing health and safety initiatives and performance across multiple business units for the 787 Storage.

Position Responsibilities:
  • Handles and integrates employee activities across more than one environmental, occupational, health and safety field
  • Activities led include the planning and implementation of occupational, health and safety programs/processes, chemical analysis, evaluation of chemical processing activities and/or related support functions
  • Develops and carries out project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals
  • Acquires resources for projects and processes, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements
  • Develops and handles relationships and partnerships with customers, collaborators, peers, partners and direct reports
  • Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes
  • Manages, develops and motivates employees


This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a "US Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. "US Person" includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
  • 5+ years of experience in leading informal and/or formal teams
  • 5+ years of experience in Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS)


Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
  • Bachelors degree or higher
  • Associate Safety Professional or Certified Safety Professional certification from the Board of Certified Safety Professionals
