Consultant, Quality Control-QC Microbiology Tech I, Biotechnology
Summary
Our client, a Fortune 500 Biotech Company, leading the industry in the fight against cancer, has engaged GForce Life Sciences to provide them with a Quality Control Laboratory Technical Operations technician I. This position will report to the AD Quality Control (Microbiology) within the Quality department. This individual will be responsible for the following:
Duties / Expectations of Role
· Perform environmental monitoring of cleanrooms
· Perform water sample collection and testing
· Adhere to good documentation practices to ensure data integrity and traceability
· Receive and maintain traceability and integrity of test samples, reagents and materials used in the laboratory per approved procedures
· Perform material, in-process, and final product microbiological assays such as Gram Stain, Endotoxin, Sterility, Microbial Identification, Growth Promotion, Bioburden and Plate Reading
· Perform visual inspection of final product
· Data entry and trend data
· Assist in investigations regarding out of specifications (OOS) results, address and manage deviations related to micro procedures
· Routine maintenance of lab equipment and lab spaces
· Maintain laboratory inventory supplies
· Additional duties as assigned.
· These duties can be delegated to designated deputies of a satisfactory qualification level as needed.
Mandatory Requirements
· Bachelor's Degree in Biology or related discipline

- 6+ month contract to hire
- Start ASAP
- Onsite in Oceanside, CA - some remote flexibility
- Full time - 40hrs/week; benefits included (health, dental, vision, 401k)
