QC Microbiology Analyst

A rapidly growing biotechnology company in Rensselaer, NY is looking for a QC Microbiology Analyst to join their team! This person will perform testing to ensure cGMP compliance in the manufacturing facility. They will be responsible for assessing the microbiological quality of products, equipment, process areas, and facility utilities. This is a one-year contract position with the potential for extension or permanent hire!

What you need to know:

Pay Rate: $21.00-23.00/hour

Schedule: Monday - Friday / 2 PM - 10:30 PM

What you need to apply:

A Life Science Bachelor's Degree OR related field

On a typical day you will:

Use Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) for sample and sample tracking

Perform routine sampling and testing of utilities and environmental monitoring

Perform bioburden and endotoxin testing of utilities and raw materials

Update microbiological environmental monitoring results and prepares monthly reports

Coordinate equipment maintenance and calibration
