Responsibilities:
Environmental, Health and Safety Specialist (EH) Fast paced growing manufacturing company looking for an ambitious and responsible Environmental Health and Safety Specialist. As an EH Specialist at our company, you will be responsible for creating and enforcing a culture of safety within our organization. The EH Specialist will help prevent and eliminate injury and illness to employees and assist the company to comply with safety laws. Additionally, this position help maintain and enforce Safety Trainings for all personnel including new hire safety orientation.Major Responsibilities/Activities:Provides curricula and schedules weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual EHS training for employees. Monitors and reports completion status.Conducts weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual EHS facility audits and inspections.Maintains policies and procedures, work instructions, training materials, facility EHS mapping and signage.Maintains files for venders and contractors, legal regulations, Safety Data Sheets, Safety topics and training.Assists with incident investigation, root cause analysis, EHS data collection and reporting.Operates all equipment and performs all activities according to established safety standards in support of Morgan's zero injury goal. Follows all Company policies and procedures.May initiate and/or implement continuous improvement actions in support of company and department goals such as set-up time reduction, lean manufacturing, 6-S etc.Treats all other employees with dignity and respect; communicates in a positive and constructive manner to solve problems in a team environment.

Qualifications:
Education/Certifications/Specialties:Associates or Bachelor's degree in a related technical discipline preferred.EHS certifications as required by regulatory agencies. SKILLSProficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)Ability to prioritize and follow-through to achieve results and meet deadlines to meet the needs of the businessMust be able to deal with confidential materials and information EXPERIENCERequires 1 to 3 years of EH experience Morgan is proud to offer its employees with the following:Day and Swing Shift position available.
