Job Description
The University of Florida is seeking a new Director of the Center for Environmental & Human Toxicology. The position is a 12-month, state-funded, tenure-track faculty position (Associate or Full Professor) in the Department of Physiological Sciences within the College of Veterinary Medicine. Faculty rank and salary will be commensurate with experience of the successful candidate. The successful candidate will have an established, independent, externally funded research program in any area of human, veterinary, or environmental toxicology, proven leadership skills, and demonstrated teaching experience in professional and graduate programs. The ideal candidate will have experience in applied or regulatory toxicology with established interactions across diverse stakeholders such as industry, the regulatory community, and community organizations.

The successful candidate will join the diverse toxicology faculty in the campus-wide Center for Environmental and Human Toxicology. The center acts to facilitate collaborative research, graduate education, and outreach in toxicology across multiple Colleges, including Medicine, Engineering, Public Health and Health Profession, and Veterinary Medicine. The Center operates research support cores in aquatic and analytical toxicology.
