Help us reach more patients by joining the Oncology Drug Discovery group, an early-stage drug discovery team passionate about understanding and exploiting the molecular mechanisms of novel cancer targets for the discovery, characterization, and optimization of Oncology therapeutics. YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Participate in the design, development, characterization, implementation and validation of novel therapeutic concepts.

Will work on cross-disciplinary teams to develop, optimize and implement cell-based assays and explore in-depth target biology to enable the discovery of new oncology drugs.

Perform cell-based assays on a weekly basis to identify new chemical matter in plate-based format Operate liquid handling instruments perform high content imaging experiments and be adaptable to exploring new biology and assay design formats and concepts

Independently document, analyze, and interpret experiments, present results within a multidisciplinary team environment.

Minimum requirements

Minimum Requirements:
• MS degree in Molecular Biology, Genetics, or a related field required. Broad and in-depth technical knowledge of scientific discipline and area of specialization.
• 10+ years of Industry or Academic bench work experience
• Direct experience with mammalian cell culture, transfection, transduction (e.g., lentiviral) methods
• Direct experience with development of cell based assays for biological discovery and compound profiling
• Demonstrated ability to independently analyze, interpret, and present data in a clear manner and use data to generate new hypotheses
• Demonstrate broad and deep understanding of technical fields and independently identify, develop innovative solutions to complex experimental/scientific questions
• Curiosity to expand existing skills and develop new ones
• An excellent teammate with strong communication skills and a willingness to collaborate with others.

Preferred:
• Experience with a range of basic molecular biology and cell-based assay techniques (e.g., nucleic acid extraction, qPCR, cloning, , western blotting high content imaging, Use or quickly learn liquid handling equipment to perform plate-based assays). Be familiar with various computational tools to handle and analyze data within experimental field.
