LabCorp is seeking a Lab Services Team Leader to join our busy Esoteric Microbiology department in Burlington, NC! As a member of the Center for Esoteric Testing group, our lab is one of the leading testing laboratories in the United States. This position performs functions of a Senior Technologist as well as assists in coordinating the work of other technologist and technicians for that shift.

The working schedule for this position will be: 1st shift, Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm.

Requirements:
- BS degree in Biology, Chemistry, Medical Technology or related life science
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a clinical laboratory.
- Supervisory and/or lead experience preferred.
- Strong computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Office and Outlook
- Must be able to work in a team oriented and fast paced environment.

- Performing routine and moderate to complex tests and analysis according to established procedures in designated technical department.
- Evaluates new procedures or methods under direct supervision of department supervisor or group leader.
- Reviewing and assigning work
- Assists in training and orientation of personnel as assigned.
- Overseeing daily operations.
- Administering the quality control program,
- Ensuring that schedule time frames are met,
- Advising management of problem areas,
- Assisting in employee actions,
- Acting as liaison with other departments and customers on technical inquiries and test results.
- Other duties as assigned by management.
