ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Maintain an extramural funded independent research program
  • Participate in training investigators in the area of biomedical research at a molecular / atomic level.
  • Partner with established biomedical researchers in a highly collaborative biomedical research community to foster mutual scientific goals
  • Build translational research programs
  • Participate in committees which serve the Department, and the University

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

MD, PhD, or the equivalent in the area of biomedical sciences

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Ability to collaborate within a team of researchers in a translational and basic science research research setting
  • Excellent command of the English language both written and spoken

SALARY:

Commensurate with experience.
