Overview
We are seeking an individual with molecular biology skills to support Actym's drug discovery and development efforts. The ideal candidate will have multiple responsibilities, including the development of molecular assays to measure drug product activity, contributing to decisions on drug candidates and program progression, as well as being responsible for the integrity and quality of data produced. The successful candidate must have experience with basic molecular biology techniques, and enjoy working in a fast-paced, team environment.
Preferred Experience
· 1-3 years of hands-on experience in an academic or industrial research laboratory setting
· Experience with PCR reaction parameter design and troubleshooting
· Knowledge of nucleic acid analysis, purification, and quantification methods
· Expertise with qPCR is a plus
· NGS library construction and QC experience is a plus
Preferred Education
· B.S. with focus in Molecular Biology, Microbiology, Bioengineering, or related discipline
