Our client, a multi-state cannabis operator with production facilities in Pennsylvania, is looking for an Environmental Health & Safety Manager (EHSM). The Environmental Health and Safety Manager (EHSM) will implement policies to ensure a safe and healthy work environment and serve as the primary point person for safety and support management by ensuring all federal and local legislative compliance and maintaining SOPs on safety. The EHSM will also help foster a safety culture, provide EHS training, and develop risk reduction awareness. This person will champion the continuous improvement of the EHS Management System, creating open dialogue and managing projects across key departments: cultivation, manufacturing, and retail sites.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop, schedule, and deliver comprehensive, interactive training to staff and contractors on subjects related to safety.
- Oversee site risk assessment initiatives and develop and implement action plans.
- Maintain hazardous waste disposal program and the site's Toxic Risk Management process.
- Create, train, and audits EHS policies and procedures.
- Inspects the facility to identify potential safety risks.
- Develops and implements inspection SOPs and drafts reports to document inspection findings.
EXPERIENCE - REQUIRED
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Safety, Occupational Safety, and Health, or related field.
- Five years of related experience.
- Extensive knowledge of food safety and GMP guidelines.
- Comprehensive knowledge of environmental regulations and policies.
LOCATION
- Onsite: Scranton, PA
- This role does include some travel
