*Senior** Environmental Material Compliance Data Analyst **(Austin, TX or Cupertino, CA):*
*Description:*
The Senior Environmental Material Compliance Data Analyst position supports product compliance and certification by driving collection of Full Material Disclosure (FMD) and required environmental compliance documentation from global material manufacturers. The Sr. Environmental Material Compliance Data Analyst will drive the request and review FMD declarations to support qualification of materials and substance phase-out initiatives.
This role requires working directly with internal cross-functional partners in product development, purchasing, environmental, and legal teams and with external material manufacturers. Duties include communicating company requirements, supporting partner negotiations, managing collection of FMD declarations escalating issues when required, contributing to compliance process improvement efforts, creating and maintaining procedures and training materials.
*Key Qualifications:*
* 10+ years of relevant industry experience
* Purchasing and supplier management experience responsible for supplier negotiation and relationship management
* Consumer electronics industry / contract manufacturing experience
* Collect environmental compliance data and documentation from material manufacturers
* Drive suppliers to submit environmental compliance data and documentation, including FMD, statements of compliance, and test reports, to demonstrate compliance with requirements
* Prioritize issues and track details to ensure data is obtained as required to support development products
* Background with commodities in consumer electronics space such as batteries, trackpads, LED displays, keyboards
* Attention to detail
* Familiarity with PLM systems such as Agile and Teamcenter
* Familiarity with product analytics
* High-level communication skills
* A proven track record in program or project management

*Education:*
* BS degree required; MS degrees welcome; specialization in material science or a related topic is a plus
