GlaxoSmithKline LLC; Design & develop bespoke data management solutions for next-generation sequencing data generated in the pre-clinical drug discovery programs w/in GSK's Tumor Cell Targeting Research Unit. Req: Master's (or for. equiv.) in Biotechnology, Bioinformatics or related & 2 yrs of exp. in: (1) Processing, analyzing, & integrating genomic data utilizing multiple genomic techniques with RNA-seq, ChIP-seq, ATAC-seq, Whole Exome-Seq, or microarray-based gene expression; (2) Cancer research, including arginine methylation & DNA methylation biology; (3) Generating pharmacodynamic, MOA & predictive biomarkers & validating the biomarkers using preclinical models & interpreting findings for cancer drug discovery & development; (4) Utilizing public & commercial bioinformatics tools including R/BioConductor, SpotFire, NCBI/Ensembl/UCSC; & (5) Utilizing pathway analyses solutions including Reactome, BioCarta, GSEA, or fGSEA.
