Purpose:
Under supervision within the electrical and instrumentation and controls disciplines, you will assist in the delivery of design and drafting services to Worley and its customers.
Responsibilities:
Under supervision you will:
* Be responsible for drafting and back-drafting of single lines and other design drawings
* Aid with 3D modeling in all phases of projects, from concept to detailed design
* Assist with field work such as walkdown of equipment and systems, field sketches and field measurements on site at multiple client sites
* Aid the team on numerous tasks on projects when required
* Participate in multi-discipline design reviews, both internal and with clients
* Perform specific design and drafting services that meet Worley, the customer's, applicable statutory and regulatory requirements
* Prepare material take off for project estimates
* Perform design and drafting assignments on projects while meeting project requirements on time and within budget
* Identify and report changes to project scope
* Communicate effectively with the piping team and project stakeholders
* Establish and maintain good working relationships within Worley
* Identify issues and problems and ask for assistance when required
What you will bring
Technical and Industry Experience:
* Developing technical and practical design and drafting skills in the electrical and instrumentation and controls disciplines in the same or similar industry.
* Developing skills in design software
* Competent use of relevant software such as MS Office Suite
Education - Qualifications, Accreditation, Training
Required:
A secondary school diploma with basic training in CAD program or technical diploma with piping design specific training or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
