The Rubenstein School of Environment and Natural Resources (RSENR) at the University of  Vermont (UVM) welcomes applicants for three full-time, 9-month, Lecturer positions.  We seek three dedicated and inspiring new faculty members with a terminal degree in Environmental Science, Natural Resources, Wildlife Biology, Physical Geography or related fields.  Successful applicants will have demonstrated excellence in student-centered instruction, mentoring students, and a track record of centering equity and inclusion in their professional activities.    

 

Lecturer, Geospatial Technologies and Environmental Science.  Instructional assignments may include: Global Monitoring and Assessment, Introduction to GIS, Introduction to Remote Sensing, as well as advanced courses in applied, environmental modeling.

 

Lecturer, Natural Resources and Conservation BiologyInstructional assignments may include: Ecology, Ecosystems and Environment, Wildlife Conservation, Race and Culture in Natural Resources, as well as advanced courses in applied, discipline specific skills.

 

Lecturer, Environmental Science and Restoration Ecology.  Instructional assignments may include: Recovery and Restoration of Altered systems, Ecological Restoration Foundations, Race and Culture in Natural Resources, as well as advanced courses in Applied and Translational Ecology that will serve students across RSENR majors.
