Candidates for this position must have strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask as well as the ability to engage students.They must also be able to use technology sufficiently to use a learning management system (Canvas) and respond to email.Adjunct Faculty report to the Assistant Dean and work with full-time faculty in designing lessons, activities, assignments, and assessments to ensure that students successfully meet the course objectives and outcomes. Adjunct Faculty are responsible for student evaluations, and timely and accurate submission for required instructional paperwork. Biology courses are offered on Waubonsee's Sugar Grove, Illinois campus and are offered in 8-week and 11-week sessions.Course available in the 11-week summer session begin the week of May 23, 2022 and run through the week of August 5, 2022.BIO120.600 Principles of Biology IA I:The lecture meets at the Sugar Grove campus on Tuesdays from 6:00 PM - 9:50 PM (CST) and the lab meets on Thursdays from 6:00 PM - 9:50 PM (CST).Courses available in the 8-week summer session begin the week of June 13,2022 and run through the week of August 5, 2022.BIO100.600 01 Introduction to Biology meets at the Downtown Aurora Campus on Mondays and Wednesdays from 6:30 PM - 9:15 PM (CST)BIO101.002 01 Intro to Biology Laboratory meets at the Sugar Grove Campus on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 11:00 AM -12:40P.M. (CST)BIO101.600 01 Intro to Biology Laboratory meets at the Aurora Downtown Campus on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:30 PM - 9:15 PM (CST)Minimum QualificationsMaster's degree in Biology or a Master's degree with 18 graduate hours in Biology.
