Coordinates a variety of environmental and regulatory activities including air, water and waste issues. Helps develop and promote environmental management systems, policies, procedures, and programs. Promotes Environmental Stewardship throughout the company.Essential Job Responsibilities:Assists the environmental/health/safety department in performing internal and regulatory agency audits and inspections.Coordinates and conducts monthly EHS training programs at field level meetings.Assists with, and participates in the company's emergency response situations and spill management program.Maintains the company's state and federal spill response plans.Assists the EHS staff with due diligence and environmental remediation projects by tracking all essential documentation associated with projects.Files and maintains annual Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Tier II reports.Assists EHS department with preparing and tracking of all air, water, norm, and waste permits, and all modifications and documentation of permits.Files and maintains all monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, and annual reports associated with permits and environmental projects.Assists EHS department with risk management programs including the flow line integrity management program.Assists in maintaining the company's environmental files and programs.Files and obtains permits associated with wetlands, coastal management areas and other associated projects such as dredging, drilling structures, P, and pipeline installation permits.Assists EHS department with all mitigation and environmental compensation programs.Adheres to the company's values - integrity, ownership, urgency, alignment and innovation.Supports company vision and mission.Adheres to established work schedule, attendance standards and is punctual to work and meetings.Other Job Responsibilities:Ability to be available 24 hours per day (on call for questions, emergencies, etc.).Ability to travel 25% of work schedule.Maintains employee confidence and protects company assets, including intellectual property, by keeping information confidential.Maintains technical knowledge by attending educational workshops and reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional associations.Other duties as assigned by management.Qualifications:Five (5+) years minimum regulatory and environmental oil and gas experience.Ability to accurately solve problems and exceptional proficiency in data management.Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, supervisors, other departments, officials, and the public.Ability to complete multiple, diverse tasks of differing priorities.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with specific ability to translate complex information into an organized and presentable manner.Outstanding administrative and organizational skills.Proficiency in the use and application of the following software:Preferred: Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook).Education Requirements:Required: Bachelor's Degree from an accredited four-year university or college Preferred: Degree Specialization in Environmental Sciences/Engineering.Certifications, Licenses, Registrations:CPEA, CEM, or REM preferred.
