Environmental Scientist / Environmental Geologist / Environmental Engineer

Professional opportunity for a well-motivated Environmental Scientist, Geologist, or Engineer with a B.S. or M.S. degree, intern, or work experience a plus, with 5+ years of experience. The successful candidate will work on a range of environmental projects, including as part of an interdisciplinary team on some highly complex remediation projects.

Environmental Scientist Preferred skills include:
  • Field investigations, environmental chemistry, environmental impact analysis, hydrology, ecology, statistics and risk assessment; training in estuaries and wetlands ecology a plus
  • Strong interdisciplinary training in several core study areas and sustainability analysis skills preferred
  • Strong analytical approach to problem analysis, data management and problem-solving, using software tools (e.g., GIS) and modeling
  • Technology and alternatives evaluation, benefits-cost analysis
  • Knowledge of the environmental regulatory framework; and
  • High level of communication capabilities, organization and technical writing.

Environmental Geologist Preferred skills include:
  • Hydrogeology (unconsolidated and bedrock formations), stratigraphy, and field investigations; fluvial geomorphology a plus
  • Interdisciplinary training and sustainability analysis skills preferred
  • Strong analytical approach to problem analysis, data management and problem-solving, using software tools (e.g., GIS, formation mapping software) and modeling
  • Technology and alternatives evaluation, interest in remedial design a plus
  • Knowledge of the environmental regulatory framework; and
  • High level of communication capabilities, organization, and technical writing.

Environmental Engineer Preferred skills include:
  • Water resources management - hydrology (riverine/estuary), hydrogeology, and water treatment
  • Interdisciplinary training and sustainability analysis skills preferred
  • Strong analytical approach to problem analysis, data management, and problem-solving, using software tools (e.g., GIS, CAD) and modeling
  • Technology and alternatives evaluation, interest in remedial design a plus
  • Knowledge of the environmental regulatory framework; and
  • High level of communication capabilities, organization, and technical writing.
