Technical Support Scientist / Biology
REMOTE (PST time zone)

VRS is seeking an experienced Biologist or Microbiologist to serve as a technical expert for PCR related instrumentation and testing. The ideal candidate's background will include hands on lab experience in industry with some level of customer service background.

Primary Responsibilities:
Serve as technical expert for PCR instrumentation, supporting customers remotely
Provide product training for customers and internal sales teams
Collaborate on internal Product Teams and provide Voice of Customer
When necessary, travel to customers sites

Candidate Qualifications:
Minimum of a BS in a scientific discipline and at least 3 years industry experience
Practical experience in Molecular Biology and/or Microbiology testing (PCR a plus!)
Customer-facing experience in a professional capacity

Compensation:
Base salary $49-69K + 6% bonus
No Medical Insurance Premiums!
4 weeks PTO + 11 paid Holidays
401k up to 9%
