The Scientific Team at Russell Tobin & Associates is hiring a Research Associate a world-class biotech/pharmaceutical client near South San Francisco, CA.

We are looking for a Lab Associate that wants to be a part of a dynamic, and growing biopharmaceutical organization where you can influence your own development.

Responsibilities
  • Handling metadata, coordination, and execution of manual/and or automated sample processing workflows
  • Performs lab-based activities and processes related to the tracking, inventory, preparation (DNA/RNA extractions) and transport of biological samples form clinical and non-clinical trials.
  • Request evaluation and ensure that lab activities fulfill customer needs while achieving operational excellence in quality, service levels, cost, and compliance
  • Recommend solutions when facing challenges

Requirements
  • BS degree in Biotech, Cell Biology, Molecular Biology
  • Strong computational skills in relation to research
  • Ability to independently design, execute and analyze complex sets of experiments or procedures
  • Demonstrated experience in utilizing a variety of analytical platforms and instrumentation (i.e., liquid handling and automation, automated nucleic acid purification solutions)
  • Prior experience with cell culture and flow cytometry is a plus
  • Must be able to work in a team environment
  • Looking for curiosity
