As a Consulting Arborist Team Lead for Rainbow Treecare (a division of Rainbow Tree Company), you will provide leadership and management to Consulting Arborists in the execution of revenue strategies and support of Rainbow clients. You will work with the management team to plan, develop, and implement actions to fulfill aligned outcomes. In addition, you will coach and mentor the Arborists in all aspects of sales skills and conversations needed to achieve goals in each customer segment. This leadership position is critical to increase how many clients we can serve and our overall impact in existing and new markets.
You are knowledgeable and experienced with all aspects of tree and shrub care, including proper diagnosis, treatment protocols, hazard tree evaluation, integrated pest management, and industry-approved tree care practices. As an Arborist Team Lead , you will absorb, translate, transmit and apply the most responsible science to inform our practices in the industry. You will serve as a researcher, trainer, behind the scenes consultant, and a leader in advancing the science and practice of tree care.
What You Will Do:
Build, develop, and manage a sales team capable of excellence in sales, serving clients, and being leaders in the industry
Create a sales pipeline within each territory and review with Consulting Arborists and leadership to fulfill revenue goals
Helps lead and implement enabling technologies to field sales teams
Forecasts, plans, budgets revenues and sales compensation plans
Meet regularly with RTC Marketing Brand Manager to coordinate actions and stay in alignment
Assist Research and Development team on the development of new products
Required Qualifications:
2-year degree in business or related green industry fields2 - 3 years of sales management experience in the green industry
ISA Certification
Computer literacy in Microsoft 365
Valid Driver's license with a good driving record
Must be able to work out of a hybrid of MN based headquarters and local home-based office
Preferred Qualifications:
4-year degree in business or related green industry field (horticulture, landscape maintenance, urban forestry.)
Experience training adult learners

Work is performed outdoors in any weather element throughout urban and rural areas. May be required to bend, reach, stoop, and lift objects; may be exposed to safety hazards and hazardous tools and equipment; during which safety precautions must be followed, including use of safety equipment. Must be able to lift 50 pounds at any given time.
