ProSidian Seeks a AMSE Environmental Compliance Consultant - GSSC (Full-Time) to support an engagement for the US Dept. of Energy (DOE) Hanford. Preferred candidates present with relevant Government, Public Sector and Infrastructure (Nuclear and Environmental) Sector experience (functional area experience also ideal) - SCA Code: N/A. This position is located in the CONUS - Northwest Region.

AMSE Environmental Compliance Consultant - GSSC Candidates shall work to support requirements for PR0114A RFQ FY22 SB06 AMSE 01 Environmental Compliance Support Swim Lanes and statement of work (SOW) while maintaining required qualifications with relevant Government, Public Sector and Infrastructure (Nuclear and Environmental) Sector experience (functional area experience also ideal). ProSidian Team Members (# FTe's: 1) work as part of the Engagement Team Cadre to provide AMSE Environmental Compliance Support services on behalf of The Department of Energy (DOE), Hanford Site, Assistant Manager for Safety and Environment (AMSE), Environmental Compliance Division (ECD).

The Department of Energy (DOE), Hanford Site, Assistant Manager for Safety and Environment (AMSE), Environmental Compliance Division (ECD) requires general support services. The Environmental Compliance Consultant will have responsibility for execution of the itemized work scope below:

Assess and evaluate the contractors' readiness to support the DFLAW operations through implementation of Air Operating and Dangerous Waste programs, requirements, and permit conditions.

Review permit documents, schedules, milestones, design packages, and modifications while providing technical and regulatory recommendations to the ECD Director.

Provide consulting and strategic recommendations to the ECD Director based upon the review of documents, coordination of reviews, developments of comments, walk-downs, meeting attendance with regulatory agencies, consolidation of comments for DOE Hanford submittal to the site contractors, as well as comment resolution.

The Environmental Compliance Consultant may also be required to attend meetings within DOE and regulatory agencies, Washington State Department of Ecology and Washington State Department of Health, along with working on-site both WTP and Tank Farms for assigned meetings or walk-downs.

Supporting regulatory inspections at the WTP and assisting DOE in responding to inspection reports for accuracy, and compliance with the regulations. Interacting with the environmental regulators may also be part of this Task.

Conducting regulatory analysis on the applicability, ability to implement, and impacts of environmental regulations, including new and proposed regulations.

Attendance at weekly ECD meetings, WTP permit interface meetings, Tank Retrieval Closure meetings, Single Shell Tank Permit Workshops, and other meetings.

Work with the ECD Director to create a strategic electronic binder of regulatory letters and summary of impacts to the ORP mission, and status of various permitting activities.

Work in a business sensitive environment of impacts to the mission.

Prepare assessments and reports.

Participate in regulatory inspections, field walk-downs, meeting attendance with DOE, contractors and regulatory agencies.

Periodic reports of work overseen and any compliance deviations.

Follow-up on issues, findings, and other areas of concern.

Participate in meetings with senior management team as required by the ECD functional lead, including preparation of meeting minutes and presentation materials.
