Position Summary:
Responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining the Environmental, Health, and Safety program in an FDA regulated pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.

Responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining the Environmental, Health, and Safety program in an FDA regulated pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate facility EHS conditions, assess risks, and develop appropriate corrective-action plans to address deficiencies.
- Drive continuous improvement in EHS performance and programs.
- Manage Workers' Compensation issues.
- Prepare, update, and provide training for Safety and regulatory compliance.
- Manage reporting requirements for waste management.
- Regularly perform safety walk-throughs to proactively identify and correct potential safety issues.
- Plan, develop, and manage site procedures for adhering to local, state, and federal EHS regulations.
- Conduct job hazard analysis and exposure assessments to identify occupational health hazards.
- Manage EHS audits by outside regulatory agencies.
- Other duties as needed.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Health & Safety or Environmental Sciences (or related technical discipline).
- 5 years of professional experience developing and implementing Environmental, Health, and Safety programs within a manufacturing environment.
- Certified Safety Professional (CSP) certification is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of EHS regulations and requirements (EPA, OSHA, DOT, etc.) and ability to demonstrate effective interaction with regulatory agencies.
- Knowledgeable in the technical fundamentals of safety management and risk assessments and reduction, including machinery safety, ergonomics, and occupational health.
