We currently have an opening for a Researcher in our Energy, Environment, Communications & Infrastructure (EECI) practice located in either our Washington, DC or Los Angeles, CA offices. This is an exciting opportunity to join a global firm that uses quantitative methods to develop and implement competitive bidding processes for the procurement of wholesale power, renewable energy, and capacity. Qualified candidates will have a Bachelors or Masters degree in economics, finance, mathematics, statistics, the environment/energy sector, or related field. They will also have a strong academic record and exceptional analytical skill, quantitative skill, as well as a demonstrated ability to communicate complex analyses clearly and coherently. Prior experience in the field of energy, economics, or other regulated industries is highly desirable.

The qualified candidate will work independently within a team environment on client advisory projects and competitive bidding process design, management, and implementation. Areas include designing and conducting energy auctions, providing strategy and valuation, economic analysis, and interface with regulatory authorities.
