GC/MS Analysis Chemist - Pesticide & Plastics Residue - Hanover, NJ
Environmental Chemist Agricultural Analytical Chemistry Organic Chemistry Analytical Methods Development HPLC GC MS Soil Analysis Water Sample Analysis _ .
Become part of a solid and successful team conducting analysis of pesticide residues and other organic samples in foods, soil, or water using High Performance Liquid Chromatography, Gas Chromatography, and Mass Spectrometry instrumentation in a ISO 17025 certified laboratory.
*** Serves as technical lead and authority for organic analytical chemistry operations.
*** Prepare samples for and perform the following analysis: Pesticide Residues (Gas Chromatography Tandem Mass Spectrometry & Liquid Chromatography Tandem Mass Spectrometry), Residual Solvents (Headspace Gas Chromatography Mass Spectrometry), Potency of Active Ingredients (Liquid Chromatography & Gas Chromatography).
*** Maintain ABSciex and Agilent HPLC, GC, and Mass Spectrometry instrumentation and software, including MassHunter.
*** Interpret and report data in Laboratory Information Management System.
*** Draft controlled and technical documents.
*** Write Standard Operating Procedures and method validation procedures.
*** Support training and development of junior chemists and laboratory techs.
