Our team is currently searching for a Biology Research Assistant I for this independent, non-profit institute in San Diego, CA that ranked number one globally in 2009 by ScienceWatch in the neuroscience and behavior fieldTheir institute focuses its research on three areas: molecular biology and genetics; neurosciences; and plant biology.Your responsibilities include plant maintenance and manipulation, image acquisition, trait measurement, data analysis, and troubleshootingBiology Research Assistant I Responsibilities:

Perform molecular biology studies in plants and plant tissue dissectionPhenotype plants as well as evaluate changes with plant traits if there would be anySelecting and genotyping of plantsAssists with maintaining lab stocksBiology Research Assistant I Qualifications:
