About the Opportunity:
- A renowned, award-winning, scientific research institute located in San Diego, CA is looking for an efficient Biology Research Assistant I to join their growing team. Recent College Grads are encouraged to apply!

- You will be part of a research team focused on understanding the genetic and neural control of animal behavior
Biology Research Assistant I Responsibilities:
- Executes behavioral and histological experiments according to the plans set by the postdoctoral scholar
- Assisting maintenance of molecular biology reagents and Drosophila
- Communicate with various personnel in and outside of the laboratory for the smooth operation of scientific research
- Perform dissection, fix, antibody application, wash, and mounting following the established protocol
Biology Research Assistant I Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Biological Sciences or related field
- Previous experience with microsurgery on laboratory animals
- Demonstrated experience in using MATLAB, Python, R, or equivalent data analysis/programming is a plus
