The Lokelma ® Supply Site (LSS) has recently remodeled office space to provide a pleasant office environment to support varying work styles and collaboration needs. Additionally, the site offers a food delivery service through Foodsby, allowing employees to purchase food from a variety of local restaurants to be delivered to the site, which currently includes a discounted price for LSS employees. What you'll do: As a member of the Quality Control (QC) team contribute through the completion of all assigned and routine document related tasks in compliance with AZ, GMP & SHE standards. * Perform aseptic sampling and testing of water, environmental monitoring, TOC and Bioburden samples per written test methods and standard operating procedures. * Accurately complete all data entry requirements for methods or tasks performed, reviewing data for completeness and accuracy. * Clean and maintain the general laboratory facilities. * Develop and maintain any forms needed for sample analysis of laboratory procedures. * Write or contribute to the review of written SOP's in the laboratory. * Work with the QA leadership team to address and correct issues arising from quality assurance, compliance or safety audits. * Work with all laboratory personnel to maintain a safe and clean working environment. * Routine purchasing and testing to maintain stock media, cultures, reagents and other lab supplies. * Lead "out of specification" investigations. Essential for the role: * Bachelor's degree in microbiology, chemistry, biology or another related science field * 3-5 years' experience working in a cGMP laboratory * Knowledge of microbiological applications in biotech/pharmaceutical industry * Familiarity with Microbiological Compendial USP/ICH guidelines Why AstraZeneca?
