Siduma is seeking a highly motivated Research Associate with in vitro biology skills and experiences to join its platform biology group, reporting to Director and Head of Platform Biology.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • With a focus on in vitro Biology, this individual will play a key technical role in the development and execution of assays and technologies that expand Siduma's understanding of its novel platform technology.
  • Adaptation and execution of biochemical, cell-based and biophysical assays & technologies, with a capability to expand the repertoire of assay technologies as needed, including medium- and high-throughput methods.
  • Analysis and interpretation of data for internal review, including writing technical reports and giving oral presentations.


Qualifications:
  • Candidates should have a B.S. or M.S. degree in one of the following disciplines: biochemistry, cell biology, biophysics or chemical biology, and ideally with relevant industry-based laboratory research experience.
  • Hands-on experience with mammalian cell culture, cell lines and primary cells is a plus.
  • A rigorous experimental mindset coupled with scientific curiosity and a results-driven approach
  • The ability to operate, collaborate, and communicate effectively in a team environment.
  • A demonstrated track record of working independently, safely, and productively in the laboratory.
  • Demonstrated accountability for meeting personal and departmental goals.
  • The successful candidate will be a collaborative team player, a critical thinker, and a clear communicator.
  • The successful candidate should demonstrate his/her ability to quickly understand & master new knowledge and skills, as well as being comfortable with multitasking.
