The ideal candidate will be:
- Curious to inspect and explain a signal in a novel high-frequency domain
- Excited by computational challenges
- Eager to contribute to cross-team development
- Own the roadmap for appliance and power grid faults detection:
- Understand how the faults manifest in the electrical signal
- Develop algorithms to detect and classify them
- Develop computational techniques to process a 1MHz signal in low resource environments to improve appliance or fault detection.
- Collaborate to integrate algorithms to Machine Learning frameworks
- Drive successful algorithms to production
- Contribute to the technical vision of Sense
- Masters or higher in Electrical Engineering, Communications, Physics or Mathematics
- Expert understanding of signal processing, time-series / frequency analysis, algorithms, and data structures
- Professional development experience with C/C++
- Experience with software development in Python
- Jupyter notebooks, numpy, pandas, and scikit-learn
