We recruit top talent and are currently seeking a full-time Environmental Technician to join and support our environmental service team in our Spartanburg, South Carolina location. Training will be provided to a suitable candidate.

The individual will perform field and office work associated with environmental and hazardous materials assessments. Qualified candidates will be trained to conduct the following activities:
  • Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments;
  • Hazardous Materials Assessment (asbestos, lead, etc.);
  • Soil Logging and Classification;
  • Groundwater Sampling;
  • Field Data Collection;
  • Data Entry and Report Writing


Qualifications:
  • BS in environmental science, geology, chemistry or related field, or able to obtain within 6 months;
  • At least six (6) months of internship or work-related field experience preferred;
  • 40-Hour HAZWOPER training preferred;
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions;
  • Ability and willingness to accommodate occasional overnight and out-of-town assignments;
  • Good technical writing, verbal communications, and computer skills.

This is a full-time position with competitive pay based on experience. Successful candidate must meet requirements of the company's Fleet Management Program, Substance Policy and Reference Check program.
