Entry Level Lab Technician-2nd Shift 2:30-11PM ( Biology Or Chemistry Bachelors Required)

*Description:*

Lab Tech will be working in a production heavy lab doing testing for oils, fuels and coolant samples. Depending on what sample they are testing they will be utilizing instrumentation such as FTIR, GC, UV-VIS, HPLC, Titrator (manual and automated, ICP, hot plates and centrifuges. Should expect to receive up to 3000 samples per day that is split amongst the team but some stations could run up to 2500 samples by themselves in a day. Will be utilizing Microsoft word and excel for record data from testing

D2D
Will do quality checks daily and weekly, will be checking applications to know what testing is required that day. Days where your quality checks do not pass and you need to troubleshoot you will be testing samples and recording results. Mostly testing samples for paper mills, utilities, hospitals, and for the navy
Viscosity machine will test for water in fuel samples
ICP - tests for metals and ware elements, additives or depletions
