RHP is an environmental consulting firm with a focus on the field of Industrial Hygiene, Exposure Science, Indoor Air Quality (IAQ), Built Environment, Risk Management, Dose Estimation & Analysis, and Exposure Simulation Testing. Our highly trained and sophisticated team of professionals work together seamlessly on small and large projects. Our roster includes a combination of certified industrial hygienists, public health scientists, risk assessors, safety professionals, field staff, an engineer, an anthropologist, an economist, and support staff with headquarters in Chicago, IL. Many on our team have worked together for decades and share a strong bond and work ethic that drives our success.
We are seeking a full-time Associate to join our Carlisle, PA office as an Associate Consultant. The ideal person for this role will have extraordinary attention to detail, excellent written and verbal communication skills, be extremely curious and possess a strong aptitude for critical thinking and problem solving. They will be strong team players but be able to work independently when needed. The person in this role must be open to constructive feedback, an avid learner, self-starter, and service oriented. Recent graduates with leadership experience will be considered.

Job Responsibilities:
- Gathering, analyzing, and reviewing data from multiple sources, including legal, regulatory, laboratory, technical, and historical documents, to reconstruct historical events in support of Senior Consultants.
- Consolidating critical information into comprehensive and cohesive deliverables, reviewing discovery documentation, and highlighting key points.
- Performing historical and scientific research under the guidance of Senior Consultants.
- Assisting with deliverable drafting and document production.
- Communicating with clients via mail, phone and email
- Processing monthly invoicing.
- Creating marketing materials.
- Conducting field investigations and analysis such as noise, respirator fit testing, lead in water, and industrial hygiene related projects
- Collecting water, air, and soil samples.
- Performing industrial hygiene field projects under the direction of a Senior Associate or Manager.
- Maintaining field sampling equipment.
- Assisting in drafting field reports for senior review and finalization.
Required Skills/Experience/Certification: - Bachelor's Degree (or higher) in Environmental Sciences or related scientific field.
- Valid drivers license and reliable vehicle.
- If applicable field certifications and licensure related to EHS
- Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office Programs including Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Excellent technical writing, editing, and investigative/problem solving skills.
Desirable Skills/Experience: - Strong team player combined with the ability to be self-sufficient and work independently when needed.
- Prior environmental consulting experience a plus.
- Commitment to do what is necessary to meet strict deadlines, adjust priorities and multi-task.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Work Hours:
Primarily Monday through Friday, 40+ hours per week, though occasional weekend hours may be required based upon client/project demands. Timing of daily office hours are flexible with the office typically open from 8 a.m. 5 p.m.
