Job Description

Eurofins Reservoirs is seeking organic and inorganic analytical chemists with at least 5 years of experience in a production laboratory. Applicants must be fluent with ICP-MS and GC-MS instrumentation use, troubleshooting and maintenance. Flame AA experience is helpful. Applicants must also have the skill set to evaluate and interpret analytical data. All candidates must have a good attitude and a strong work ethic. People skills and client management are important qualities. Positions are full-time. Salary is commensurate to the qualifications of the applicant.

Job Related Skills
  • Preparation and analysis of paint chips, dust wipes, soils, water and air filters for metal content, utilizing Inductively Coupled Plasma-Mass Spectroscopy (ICP-MS), and Atomic Absorption (AA).
  • Extraction and analysis of Methamphetamine utilizing Gas Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry (GC-MS).
  • Prepare standards and quality control solutions and perform calculations involving dilutions.
  • Ensure that analytical results are accurate and precise through the effective use of quality assurance and quality control protocols.
  • Perform data entry and recovery using the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS).
  • Be able to follow standard operating procedures.
  • Perform routine maintenance and standardization on laboratory equipment. Diagnose and perform minor repairs on laboratory instrumentation.
  • Perform additional responsibilities, including special projects, as requested or assigned.

Qualifications

Bachelors degree (Required)

Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship

5 years of Analytical Chemistry experience (Preferred)

Position is salaried, full-time.Applicants living within a commutable distance of Denver, CO are encouraged to apply. Salary range: $45,000 - $65,000/yr.
