The Department of Molecular Biology is seeking candidates for tenure-track assistant professor positions. We welcome applicants from a broad range of disciplines in molecular and cellular biology. We are especially seeking individuals who have demonstrated, through peer-reviewed publications and related criteria, an identifiable solid research performance at the graduate and post-doctoral levels of their training. The successful candidate will be expected to establish a productive research program, integrate graduate and medical students in their research, actively seek extramural funding and contribute to the curriculum of the department at the level of Ph.D. and Masters education. We seek individuals who will also contribute to our department's commitment to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. We offer competitive salaries, generous start-up packages and ample laboratory and office space to ensure that faculty have opportunity to succeed.
The Department of Molecular Biology bridges two schools within Rowan University, the School of Osteopathic Medicine and the Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences. We are located in Stratford, New Jersey; eight miles from Philadelphia, one hour from the Atlantic Coast, two hours from New York City and two and a half hours from Washington D.C.
