The Company
Dyno Therapeutics is reshaping the gene therapy landscape through AI-powered vectors. Through the application of our transformative technologies and strategic partnerships with leaders in gene therapy, we believe a future with life changing gene therapies for millions of people is within reach.
Our team includes world-class molecular and synthetic biologists, protein engineers and gene therapy scientists working alongside software engineers, data scientists, and machine learning experts. Dyno was named Xconomy's 2020 start up of the year and to Endpoints 11 in 2021!
The Role
Scientist - Hybrid Molecular & Computational Biology. The Raptor Project team designs and executes wet lab experiments to improve machine learning capabilities for sequence generation, this team sits within the Machine Guided Design group at Dyno. The team is responsible for experimental design, sequence generation, cloning, virus packaging, measuring virus properties in vitro and computational analysis to read out the data that inform the design of capsid sequences.
How You Will Contribute
As a Scientist within the Raptor Project Team you will support the entire cycle of experiment design and computational analysis. This role will focus at the bench on the experimental workflow (cloning, vector production and in vitro assays), but will provide the opportunity to learn and contribute to the machine learning and computational biology processes. There is room for this role to grow into a "full stack" scientist spanning both computational and experimental skillsets.
We are open to a range of experience for this role with a focus on the molecular and cell biology background. Formal experience with computational biology and/or machine learning is highly preferred as this role will be a 50/50 split of bench work and computational analysis.
