Aquarium Service Technician

We are currently looking to hire an Aquarium Specialist for our Service Department.

Daily routine includes duties such as:

• Cleaning & maintaining fresh and saltwater aquariums in customers' homes and businesses
• Monitoring the health of fish
• Cleaning & maintaining all filtration equipment
• Testing and maintaining proper water parameters
• Assistance with the installation of aquariums

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Biological Science, Environmental Science or related field, or several years' experience maintaining personal aquariums
• Experience with keeping tropical freshwater, marine fish, and invertebrates.
• Applicant must possess a thorough knowledge of disease recognition, daily aquarium husbandry, food preparation, nutrition, and water quality necessary for tropical specimens.
• The ability to lift and move up to 100 pounds is necessary.
• This is a full-time hourly position which may include subject to call weekends.
