We are currently seeking an Environmental Scientist for our Fairfax, Virginia office.
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include waters of the U. S. delineations, obtaining jurisdictional determinations from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), conducting threatened and endangered species habitat evaluations and surveys, preparing documentation pursuant to the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA), obtaining Clean Water Act Section 404/401 permits from the USACE and the Virginia Department of Environmental Quality, conducting permit compliance monitoring, preparing planting plans, conducting surveys for invasive species, preparing invasive species management plans, assisting with stream stabilization/restoration projects, and any other services as required by specific projects.
Periodic travel (including overnight) will be required to conduct field work and/or attend project meetings, as needed.

- Bachelor's Degree in Biology, Environmental Science or similar field is required - Master's Degree is a plus
