MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Geography,Natural Resources,Environment Science and two (2) years of professional experience in environmental protection, regulation or health; one of the physical or natural sciences; engineering; or allied health; or

A master's degree from an accredited college or university in in Geography,Natural Resources,Environment Scienceand one (1) year of professional experience as described above; or

A doctorate from an accredited college or university in Geography,Natural Resources,Environment Science; or

Two years of experience as an Environmental Specialist I or higher with the State of Florida.

Professional experience in in Geography,Natural Resources,Environment Science; or allied health can substitute on a year-for-year basis for the required college education

Requires possession of a valid Driver License.

In carrying out the duties of this position, the incumbent is expected at all times to be aware of and abide by the Departments Standards of Conduct, as well as any and all departmental and/or work unit rules, directives, policies, procedures, and/or general orders applicable to performing the duties of this position.

JOB DUTIES:

Review staff feedback using ArcGIS Online products related to the Florida Statewide Agricultural Irrigation Demand (FSAID) dataset and implement these updates into the dataset.

Assist with internal and external data analysis or mapping requests regarding enrolled parcels or enrolled agricultural acres in the Best Management Program (BMP).

Assist Data Manager with creating and maintaining ArcGIS Online content and products for staff use.

Assist in entering/mapping Notice of Intent of Implementation (NOI) to implement BMPs.

Assist OAWP staff with troubleshooting ArcGIS Online mapping or product issues as needed via phone, email or remote login.
