WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Work is performed in an office atmosphere. All employees are required to follow safety standards and wear all personal protective equipment in designated areas.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to walk, stand, use hands and fingers, grip, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; and talk and hear.
QUALIFICATIONS / KNOWLEDGE / SKILL / ABILITY / EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Completing compliance permitting, monitoring, and reporting for multiple site operations
- Read, interpret, and remain up to date on governmental regulations
- Obtain environmental permits for company projects
- Manage projects with the aim of enhancing sampling and analysis processes, procedures, and records
- Interact with regulators, facility staff, and facility leadership as a subject matter expert for environmental regulations and requirements
- Implement Systems: Develop and implement systems to manage programs or day-to-day activities of the workforce across all environmental functions
- Conduct and develop employee training to support environmental compliance
- Evaluate and develop site practices and procedures to continuously improve environmental compliance and stewardship
OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Promote a positive working environment in order to achieve the organization's goals
- Perform other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS / KNOWLEDGE / SKILL / ABILITY / EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Science or other related field
- Valid, current driver's license
- Current OSHA/MSHA safety training
- 5 years minimum environmental reporting and compliance experience
- Microsoft Office Suite, preferably Excel, Word, PowerPoint
- Knowledge of applicable Federal, State and local laws and regulations
- Knowledge of current environmental best management practices
- Must demonstrate persistence, resolve, resourcefulness, and a high degree of ethical standards and professionalism
- Ability to travel domestically
- Computer skills and an in-depth knowledge of Microsoft Windows based programs are required
- Ability to effectively interact with co-workers, clients, vendors, and other business contacts.
