Clinical Biologist

Proclinical is currently recruiting for a Clinical Biologist with a pharmaceutical company located in Collegeville, PA.

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform technical analyses using laboratory animal biological samples, equipment, computer systems and instrumentation in accordance with applicable study protocols, SOPs, Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC) guidelines and/or policies.
• Maintain equipment, supplies and reagents in accordance with applicable SOPs.
• Identify and assist in troubleshooting and resolving any technical issues related to experimental processes or laboratory equipment.
• Maintain a safe work environment consistent with local Environmental Health & Safety policies.
• Perform data management activities including compilation, analysis, interpretation, and archival of datasets for internal reporting needs.
• Ensure scientific data meets acceptable data integrity standards.
• Good organizational skills and flexibility in daily job responsibilities.
• Ability to work independently and in a matrix team environment.
• Ability to evaluate new methods or technologies with minimal supervision.
• Key skills include strong verbal and written communications.

Skills and Requirements:

• BS in Clinical Laboratory Sciences/Medical Technology or relevant life sciences
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a non-clinical/veterinary or clinical laboratory setting
• Experience in multiple clinical laboratory areas including hematology, chemistry, immunoassays, including ELISA- or electrochemiluminescence-based assays (i.e. Meso Scale Discovery platform) and other relevant capabilities to monitor biomarkers in samples collected from laboratory animals.
• ASCP certification highly desirable.
• Familiarity with Graphpad or other data visualization tools.
• Knowledge of the principles of quality, safety, compliance.
