Overview:
The Program Manager role will support efforts with in Target and Discovery Biology group, and will work in a highly dynamic and collaborative environment contributing to managing programs within our growing portfolio from target validation and hit finding to lead optimization and pre-IND studies. The candidate will interface with multi-disciplinary teams such as medicinal chemistry, pre-clinical, toxicology and CMC as well as clinical development and regulatory. They will have the opportunity to shape the growing program management function for the company, empower team members, integrate perspectives, and accelerate programs. Responsibilities:
Collaborate with Program Leads to create program timelines across different stages of drug discovery, meeting plans, budget and team deliverables. Identify issues and barriers, support the team to create alternative approachesOverall accountability for program operations, timelines, and deliverablesBuild relationships with key stakeholders to ensure alignment of with corporate objectivesSupport Program Leads to facilitate meetings with external partners to establish and maintain timelines and manage deliverablesEnsure cross-functional alignment and organizational support for the program plan and timelines by facilitating internal and external stakeholder managementProvide operational support for day-to-day activities, including facilitating cross-functional team meeting, leading discussions to drive decision-making, preparing agenda and meeting minutes, and ensuring critical actions items are addressed in a timely mannerMaintain project-related documentation (including the program Gantt, decision log, and risk register) and ensure appropriate archiving and access to shared information and critical program documents

Qualifications:
BS/MS/PhD in life sciences field with a minimum of 4 years of experience in a biopharmaceutical setting, including at least 3 years of direct project management experience with demonstrated success in bringing projects to completion within planned timeframe. Drug discovery experience is preferredExperience in a fast-moving biopharmaceutical organizationSolid understanding of the principles, concepts, practices, and standards of biotechnology project managementAbility to organize/prioritize tasks in a timely and accurate manner including the skill sets to manage several projects simultaneously.Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence without authority, motivate with enthusiasm and develop productive working relationships with key stakeholdersComfortable in a collaborative and dynamic team environmentHigh degree of initiative and self-motivation with a strong sense of accountabilityExcellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skillsHighly proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint), Project Management software (Smartsheet, Project) and Zoom
